Keep cold liquids cooler than 15°C for 24 hours: In an indoor environment with a temperature of 20°C±5°C, the lid was opened and the kettle was left empty for 30 minutes. Water at 0°C was then added to the kettle until it reached the lower edge of the lid. Once the water temperature inside the kettle rose to 4°C±1°C, the kettle lid was immediately sealed and the timer was started. Once the water temperature inside the kettle dropped to 95°C±1°C, the kettle lid was immediately sealed and the timer was started.
